Dear Special Friends of Master Potter,
This morning the earth is being blessed with a soft blanket of rain to enhance the lush carpet of green grass and the brightly colored flowers everywhere you look. They need that living water as much as we need to be "watered" in our secret garden with Jesus and spread His fragrances wherever He leads us!
A number of changes have occurred at Master Potter Ministries since I wrote to you last month. It is with great sadness in our hearts that I announce the news that Dwana May, our office administrator for the past two years, is moving back to Mississippi. She has "held the fort down" for us on and off the road and we will greatly miss her as a co-worker and a friend. Her last day is June 30. We are asking the Lord to bring an administrator/office manager to our ministry. Please pray for a smooth transition for Dwana concerning her move and that the changeover in our office will be totally covered in every way.
Another change is that we had to postpone our July-August tour to New Zealand and Australia. The Board of Master Potter Ministries has asked me to stay off the road to finish the book this summer. My goal was to be done writing the end of May – edit it in June – and leave for New Zealand and Australia in July and August. After spending a grueling month of working on the book 6 days a week, 8-12 hours per day, I have a more realistic picture of what it is going to take to finish this project. I am in a season where the oil is flowing with the writing and the end is in sight. As I’ve read portions to my office staff, we’ve found ourselves weeping at certain parts and cheering at others. I really feel Holy Spirit downloading me with strategies and pictures for the book and that has been exciting for me!
The wisdom of God in postponing our trip was also confirmed since Dwana finishes in our office June 30. There only would have been a couple of weeks to find AND train someone, then leave for two months, which is impossible!! The Lord certainly has everything under control; His ways aren’t our ways!
As you can see from our itinerary, we are only doing 3 conferences between now and mid-September, which means we won’t be bringing in a lot of income from the road. We are on a big faith jump for June, July, and August and we believe He will provide for our needs while we’re home. I am encouraged by the response of friends like you who are sending the needed finances to cover us while I complete my book, The Master Potter. I have enclosed an excerpt for you to read. May Holy Spirit give you a fresh revelation of the Crucified One as you walk with me through the pages of this allegory. Thank you, my friends! You are in our hearts and prayers as well!
