Hi Everybody!
Our time in Chicago was very exciting and now I’m sitting at my computer wondering how I’ll ever describe it! We had a great team with us: Tracy Ruleman, our head intercessor, along with two Kansas City ladies, Pamela Stead and Lely Herlina.
Women from many Mid-western states attended the Women’s Conference hosted by Living Stone Christian Church. Again we met desperately hungry ladies who, at times, stood on their chairs crying out for more of Holy Spirit! We also ministered at the church’s Sunday morning and evening services and the Lord came radically!
The Prodigals and the Lost
Young people covered with tattoos and into Marilyn Manson music were ambushed by Holy Spirit. They were a wild bunch … unsaved or prodigals. They hated religion and wanted something relevant and real. Neither group had experienced the power of Holy Spirit before. The move was fresh and unpredictable … like the Chicago fire, it came suddenly!
Holy Spirit surprised and invaded their space by gripping them with real power encounters and confronting the darkness, right where they were sitting on the back rows. The entire room was riveted, as the youth became breakers in the Spirit. A new level of faith erupted as the room exploded touching people everywhere. Salvations! Prodigals returning! Baptism of Holy Spirit! Parents weeping as they saw their children experiencing God! Releasing fiery impartations!
The Dancing Hand of God
It wasn’t the hand of man but the hand of God that sovereignly moved throughout the room bringing the testimony of Jesus. Those under 30 years of age were invited to come to the altar area and we asked everyone to pray for them. A deafening roar sounded as they cried out passionately for more of Jesus. Young revolutionists were birthed as wave after wave of His glory shook them to the core.
Altar Call for Generations of Women
Jill asked women who were called to teach and preach to come forward. She divided them into Abraham (45 and older), Isaac (31-45), and Jacob (30 and under). Impartation and anointing were released on the spiritual grandmothers, mothers and daughters to come forth as Deborah’s, Anna’s and Esther’s. They were commissioned through powerful prophetic words and impartations from Holy Spirit.
The Storm of God
Many different altar calls took place and the atmosphere was charged with a "living" energy that is alive when electrical storms are present. It felt like anything could happen! It was the powerful and tangible presence of Holy Spirit saturating the meeting!
Holy Spirit Clinic
Our heart is to train and equip people not only how to receive the anointing but also how to pray for others. It’s not just information --- but impartation! The church needs to move outside its walls and be radical carriers of His glory in the market place. Many times people go to meetings to receive impartation, but seldom learn how to move in the anointing themselves. My heart is to give people keys and understanding of what is taking place.
During the meetings, the room became a Holy Spirit clinic as they ministered to one another. Laughter, weeping and deep repentance broke out on many while others sat quietly with the Lord. By the end of the weekend our team had become "invisible" as the people eagerly prayed for each other. We loved working ourselves out of a job! Our prayer is always that all would come to a deeper knowledge of Jesus.
Sneak Preview of the Book
We thought you might like another peek at the book … we’re having so much fun writing it and love sharing it with our friends. Included here is an excerpt from one of my favorite chapters called "Fire Insurance."
Let me set the scene for you:
We find Beloved and her friends back in the Potter’s House before the warm glow of a cozy and inviting fireplace. Master Potter leans over, using an iron poker, to stoke the fire even hotter!
Suddenly sparks fly and the sounds of barking dogs and horses’ hoofs galloping towards them erupts as firemen burst through the door with gushing water hoses putting out the fire. Cold water impacts the fiery wood and red-hot embers, creating billowing black smoke and sooty steam that fills the room while splattering onto the vessels and shelves.

The room darkens as it fills with dense smoke and long, eerie shadows creep silently over the vessels as the Potter’s House is taken over. The Fire Chief orders his men to sweep the hearth clean of any remaining coals or burning embers. Lighting his own strange fire in the hearth, he turns to address the dirty and smudged vessels.
Appearing sympathetic and kind he tells them, "You wouldn’t be in this mess if Master Potter had only listened to us, but He always insists on setting fires. I highly recommend that you leave this house … but if you insist on staying, you really need to take my advice and get some fire insurance."
"I’ve brought along my trustworthy assistant who has many years of experience in putting out and keeping out fires started by Master Potter. On the other hand if you feel you must have fire, it should be contained and in a safe environment. I think you will agree with me that he is an expert on this as well!"
A heavy ominous presence invades the room as the Fire Chief robustly says, "Please welcome Fear of Man!"
All the vessels applaud and cheer the entry of this impeccably dressed and well-groomed figure exuding authority and demanding respect. They look up eagerly to hear his recommendations as he sets his briefcase down and takes out the Fire Code and Safety Manual.
Safety First Policy
"I have four policies in mind for this group! Here is the first one … it’s called the ‘Safety First Policy’ and is priced very reasonably if you are willing to have only three logs in the fireplace at one time and only once a month. We’ll train some of your own people as fire deputies to monitor the fires and make sure they don’t get out of control."
"Plus, we will send my assistant, Law and Order, to instruct you in the proper techniques of using buckets of water and wet blankets to put out any flying sparks that may start other fires. As I am sure you have discerned by now, we are experts in fire prevention."
Family Discount Policy
"Our second policy, at an additional cost, is the ‘Family Discount Policy’ where we supply an ornate glass fire-screen. This policy maintains a controlled temperature, giving you and your children full protection from being burned by touching the fire. Naturally, the safety of your children is one of our most paramount concerns."
Looking at each vessel he continues, "Everyone knows that watching a fire is a great spectator sport. Master Potter is foolish and dangerous the way He puts vessels in the fire so you really must protect yourselves from such carelessness."
Monuments of Master Potter’s Past Glory
Undetected, spirits of deception move among the vessels wrapping rigid bands around their minds as he continues, "Our third policy is called, ‘Monuments of Master Potter’s Past Glory’."
"My other assistant, Religious Ritual, will supply large, colored photographs illustrating historic moments when Master Potter brought signs, wonders and miracles to your fine church. These memories are forever embedded in our minds, as I’m sure they are in yours, even though the last great revival fires offended many people and brought division to your church."
"This very popular plan is to have no fire at all and to sweep the hearth clean! In that way you have no smoke, no soot, no leftover burnt wood, and no mess to clean up! Who wants to be seen shoveling out dirty old fireplaces!"
"In the spring time we supply greenery for the fireplace - artificial of course - but it looks so real no one will know the difference and it’s so fashionable … all the best churches have it."
Cleanliness is Next to Godliness Policy
"Quickly let me go over our final and most up-to-date policy. This fourth plan is called, ‘Cleanliness is Next to Godliness,’ and it’s our most expensive, but most effective, policy as it does away with the old-fashioned fireplace and totally modernizes your church. This is undoubtedly the finest policy we offer! After all, everyone knows fire is dangerous and it’s an archaic custom anyway!"
"In fact, we not only train your people to be fire deputies but to be bricklayers so they can actually close up your old fireplaces not only in this house, but in your neighborhoods and cities. The most gifted will be sent out to report other outbreaks of revival fire and assist our team in putting them out!"
"Plan one, two, three, or four … any combination. We’re easy! So, just talk it over among yourselves and sign on the dotted line. Remember, my two excellent assistants, Religious Ritual and Law and Order, will be moving among you to offer any assistance you may need."
Master Potter vs. Harry Potter
Did you know that one of the best selling books on the market for children today is the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. "Pottermania is sweeping the country," is the opening sentence in a recent article in Dr. James Dobson’s magazine. He addresses his concern that these books are full of witchcraft. Our book, Master Potter, would be a counterpart to show the supernatural from the perspective of Jesus. It would not just touch children but all ages! We have a publisher who wants to put Jill’s book in the secular market (Borders, Wal Mart, Sam’s Club, etc.) as well as the Christian bookstores. Please keep us in prayer as we seek guidance on this.
