Setting the Prisoners Free
Often, the life of the prophet is the very message He is bringing to the church. We go into a region thinking it is one assignment, not realizing that the Lord has other plans. His first assignment for us was to help take down a dark demonic gate that was counterfeited as a Christian church. When Master Potter did its first conference at this church in December of 2004, it shook the very foundations and exposed the deep sin of the married senior pastor, who was involved in multiple homosexual relationships within the church. The result was that many people were set free from deception and horrific demonic bondages. By mid-December, the church had been shut down. Suddenly, I found myself with no office, no staff, all the expenses this church had committed to take care of for one year, plus additional debt incurred through the church's mismanagement of my finances. After initially being in total shock concerning this whole situation, I am still convinced the plans and purposes of God for my moving back to California continue to exist, and I want to share them with you again. It has been very exciting to see how God has moved time and time again on our behalf this past year. Unfortunately, I have had to continue to travel the conference circuit, mainly because of the financial damage the church created.

Downsizing – Simplifying – Decentralizing
As many of you know, we moved from Hollywood to Orange County this past summer. We rented a home and set up a ministry office similar to what we had in Kansas City. But working in Southern California is turning out to look very different, more of a 21st century lifestyle, with staff working remotely on their computers from home offices. Interestingly enough, God has provided the ministry with support staff that live in different counties all over Southern California. I even have staff working remotely from Kansas City, as part of my dual citizenship. This decentralizing includes letting go of the ministry house by the end of this year to further reduce the overhead costs associated with the ministry operating in Southern California. Even with all the downsizing and letting go of the ministry house and some full-time staff, it takes money to run a ministry. Rapid change and continual shifting seem to be the hour in which I live. I can't believe I am moving one more time! (Smile) He is shaking old familiar structures to build a new framework so we can move forward into the new.

Breaking Out of Old Cycles into New Paradigms
So, the face of the ministry is changing. A new paradigm is being formed by the Lord for Master Potter Ministries. I sense He is saying, “Let go of what the ministry used to look like, and let Me redefine you.” When the staff began working out of their homes, without even realizing it, we began to downsize, simplify, and streamline. At present, most of my staff support is contract labor, part-time, or volunteer. In previous newsletters, I have shared some thoughts on what the ministry vision might look like, but here is what I believe the Lord has put on my heart for this next season.

Sabbatical – The Secret Place
As I mentioned earlier, because of the financial burden created by the church and the moves, I have had to continue this past year with my traveling schedule. I am physically exhausted and need time off the road. After this heavy battle, I need time to get into the secret place and seek the Lord. I need healing for my heart and body, and refreshing for my road-weary soul. All officers need a reprieve after bloody battles.

Surgery
Many of you know, I have severe arthritis in my knees, and I am praying about having both of my knees replaced in the spring of 2006. The recovery time is no less than eight weeks.

Creative Projects
My heart's desire is to do less traveling and pursue more creative projects in the future. I have two books that I am in the process of completing: Awake Deborah, Awake!, and another book, Awakening Your Prophetic Destiny. I am wanting to begin creating the Visitations Volume II CD on Healing and Miracles, which will include Heidi Baker, Lou Engle, James Goll, and Cindy Jacobs, to name a few. We are also in the process of producing twelve new teaching CD's, and they will hopefully be released very soon.

All of these projects require a lot of time and money, but they are being created to train and equip people, so they can extend the Kingdom of God throughout the earth! Special Ops – Third World Nations The Lord has opened doors for me to connect with governmental leaders. I see myself going behind the scenes as “special ops” for the Lord with a prophetic voice to national and international governmental leaders. I will continue to build relationships in third- world countries with ministers like Heidi Baker in Africa.

Conferences
I believe the Lord is telling me to pursue Master Potter Conferences and cut back my participation in outside conferences. He is already giving me themes for next year's Master Potter Conferences. Although the clay isn't dry yet, it looks as if we will be doing four conferences beginning in March 2006.

Ministry Operations
I will be very candid with you - I continue to be in a time of the greatest transition and financial upheaval that I have ever faced in my 30 years in ministry. As I have explained earlier, my first year's living expenses and a majority of ministry operating costs in California were meant to be covered by the sponsoring church. Instead, they created more financial hardship for us. Living in California costs 3X more than living in Kansas City, not just for me, but also for the ministry operations. I am working with my advisory board on ways to continue to streamline things and reduce overhead. Still, it costs money to run a ministry. Even with the downsizing and streamlining of the ministry, our general operating budget is $20,000 a month. This does not include monies for creative projects. In spite of the financial difficulty, He is asking me to take a leap of faith. He is still saying, “Stop! Come away with Me and rest.” He has provided me a little house with a beautiful garden that is a refuge from the storm.

Monthly Partners Over the years, the majority of the ministry income has come in through conference honorariums and product sales. Without this revenue source, I am stepping out in faith and believing God for a significant increase in the ministry's monthly supporters. I am asking the Lord for many more monthly partners for this coming season! Our goal is to establish a monthly partner base of $20,000, which will cover general operating expenses and enable us to embark on the wonderful plans and projects listed above.
