A Tidal Wave of Hunger for God in Kansas City

Over three thousand people attended Mike Bickle’s Signs, Wonders and the Prophetic Conference here in Kansas City. The hunger level for God was unprecedented. It was an exciting time with Todd Bentley, Rick Joyner, Kingsley Fletcher, Bill Subritzky and several others. Mike spoke the first day, calling the Body of Christ to a lifestyle of fasting and prayer as we approach the end of the age. The call is in the context of the Bridal message of lovesickness for the Lord where the Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come, Lord Jesus’.

Jill ministered at two sessions the next day. The room assigned to her proved to be inadequate as hundreds of people poured into the room. Every square inch of the room was taken up with people spilling out into the hallways on three sides of the room. We were told that with her two sessions, a thousand people were turned away. There was a tremendous sense of hunger and anticipation in the room as Jill began to minister.

Joining of the Generations

During her first message, Jill shared fresh revelation on the book of Esther. The Lord is calling the generations to work together. Esther and Mordecai represented the younger and older generations coming together to change history. The book of Esther illustrates prophetic intercession, which is strategic for this hour. It shows how prayer and fasting reversed the plans of the antichrist spirit that came to genocide the Jews at that time. In our day we are dealing with global warfare. The antichrist spirit is alive and well.

The Lord is calling forth Mordecai’s and Esthers to fast and pray as gatekeepers. Jill powerfully challenged the people with a heart-searching question, “Do your prayers bring reversals in the heavens to set the captives free? Are you one that is able to bind up the enemy in the realm of the second heaven and open up the door of the third heaven to release the ascending and descending of angels, Jacob’s ladder, the fresh messages and strategies from God?”

The Trumpet Sounds for Prophetic Intercessors and Gatekeepers

We have to be in a place as prophetic intercessors and gate keepers where we are standing in the council of God to get fresh mandates and strategies for our lives, our families, our cities and nations. As the level of global warfare increases, the Lord is releasing an anointing and a call for end time forerunners that are radically and passionately in love with the Lord Jesus; ones that gaze upon His beauty.

As you contend, using the fresh strategies from the war room, things will begin to shift in the heavens so that when the enemy comes to take out your loved ones, the enemy’s decrees are reversed. What decrees of the enemy need to be reversed over your families, cities and nations? Where has the Lord positioned you? Is it in a place of hiddenness in the courts of man like Esther or is it in a public place like Mordecai?

Sounds of Travail

As Jill came to the close of her message, she challenged the people to embrace the cross and to be awakened for ‘such a time as this’, for the Esthers and Mordecais to come forth. The people began to cry out for strategies that would bring about a reversal of the enemy’s plans for loved ones. Sounds of intercession manifested throughout the room as the Lord gripped people’s hearts for the lost and for loved ones. The fire of intercession was released and the cries and groaning intensified.

The Heavens Opened

The hunger of the people intensified during the second session as Jill shared testimonies on Visitations. We are coming into a time of God’s glory and visitation - open heavens where Jacob’s ladder is set up with angels ascending and descending. The heavens literally opened and fire was released throughout the room. There was a sovereign move of the Lord as He was answering the hungry cries of His people. Many people were having angelic encounters and pools of His Glory were made manifest in different parts of the room. Jill was not able to move around the room like she normally likes to because of the wall to wall people, but God was not limited!!!

Encounters with God

Many testimonies came later from people who had fresh encounters with God during Jill’s meetings. There was a general feeling that people appreciate teaching but they are desperate for a demonstration of God’s glory and His power. One woman said she saw a cloud of glory move from the front of the room to the back where she was sitting. When it came to her, she was overwhelmed with God’s presence. Another woman said the Lord spoke clearly to her what her destiny in Him was. Someone saw flames of fire dropping down on the people. A man said that he has been in many renewal meetings but He encountered God in Jill’s meeting in a way he didn’t know was possible.

There is a momentum of hunger that is building in the Body of Christ. It is creating a tidal wave that will wipe out anything that tries to hinder this next move of God!

After pouring out in city after city, it is such a blessing to come home and get many reports of how lives have been changed, breakthroughs have come, or people have been visited by the Lord in a profound way. As we hear these reports, each one is like a flower that soon becomes a bouquet that we hand to Jesus. It is all about HIM!!!

In these last days, God is raising up a new breed of forerunners who will move in a powerful prophetic anointing.
