A Desperate People Meet a Radical God

When people are desperate for God, He loves to come in a big way! Jill and I were struck by the hunger and expectancy of the people in San Jose and the Silicone Valley, which is considered the hardest place to minister in the US according to national pollsters. Jill’s challenge to contend for more in the Spirit was met with a quiet reserve the first night, but as the meetings progressed, the people became unashamedly desperate in their cries or were on their faces weeping and weeping.

Expecting the Unexpected

Extravagant worship and a hungry crowd brought the meeting into a very deep place. The silence was pregnant with the thick heavy presence of God as an open heaven came into the meeting. Times like this are very precious. It was a sovereign encounter. It was sustained by the Lord as Jill watched and listened to Holy Spirit for direction. People are forever changed and ruined for the ordinary.

Visitations & Open Heavens

“Are you desperate for a visitation from the Lord? Don’t you want your own radical encounter with Him?” Jill challenged the people! As she made prophetic proclamations to open up the gates for the King of Glory to come, it was like a dam broke and the fiery impartations, dramatic power encounters, and heart-felt intercession exploded in the room.

The fire of God swept a group of youth into pools of glory where angelic encounters and visitations began to happen. A young Asian woman had seen waves before the meeting and saw it again as the power of God hit the room. Another young woman was seeing an open vision of future events and was so gripped that she could only get out the words, “Mighty! Mighty!”

Another young gal was weeping and shaking as she prophesied, “Get prepared for what is coming! God is preparing His army for something big. Bring the message to your friends, school, and the market place. He is speaking to us. It’s a perfect plan – it’s huge!”

A woman saw the church on fire amidst the darkness. Praise and fire were coming from heaven and the Lord pleaded, “Take the fire to the dark valley (Silicone Valley).” People wept as they felt the heart of the Lord for the lost in this area.

A middle-aged man saw many in the Valley and the Bay area who were suicidal and saw the Bride with all of her diseases healed. A young gal began to feel a great pain in her heart as she cried out, “Oh, My people! My people!” Powerful intercession broke out as many were birthing things which the church had cried out for!” There was a breakthrough and things were established to the point that the pastor declared, “This is a kairos doorway being presented to us - we must step through it; this is a pivotal weekend. When the lion roars, run to it!” They did!

A Holy Covenant

It was as though the Lord drew a line in the sand for the people as Jill challenged them about living in the past with a business-as-usual mentality OR becoming a radical Joshua generation. The Lord was circumcising hearts as people were on their faces all over the room weeping out loud. They made a holy covenant with the Lord to press in with a reckless abandonment!!!

Fire in Amarillo, Texas

Jill ministered three times in Amarillo, and with each meeting the anointing and fire increased! There were several churches from Amarillo represented there as well as people from Dallas, Lubbock and other cities and even states.

Amarillo is destined to be not only a resource city in the natural but also in the spiritual. It really is a very strategic place. Keith Miller and his wife have been sowing seeds of revival into Amarillo, where they live, for many years. They have such a heart for this city. It has been hard ground to plow, but their plowing has started to pay off.

Saturday night, Kevin Prosch and JoAnn McFatter broke the place open with cutting edge prophetic worship setting the atmosphere fore Jill to come in! The evening was explosive as the sovereignty of the Lord began to move in with laughter. Then the fire began to break out with some people shaking violently. Jill did a teaching on the four kinds of fire. As she began to talk about the Holy of Holies the atmosphere in the room changed suddenly as the Kabod (the weighty glory presence of the Lord) began to come in. It was amazing to watch as she preached how the Lord backed her up with signs following!

Jill released a hunger for personal encounters with God and cast a vision for how personal visitations leads to city transformation. A burden for souls was released. There was weeping and groaning heard throughout the room as people interceded for the harvest.

The people really were able to receive Jill and all that was happening in the room because it was obvious that it was such a sovereign act of God. There was an open heaven during the meetings, and these people will never be the same! Jill gave some very strategic prophetic words that released destinies for many people. We believe it was a tremendous breakthrough for the city and the region!

Master Potter Conference in Kansas City: Dec. 12-14, 2002

“Blow the Trumpet: Sound the Alarm” Conference

The prophet Joel warns, “Blow the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the LORD is coming, for it is at hand!” (Joel 1). On December 12-14, a trumpet will be blown in Kansas City as Bonnie Chavda, Steve Carpenter, Shawn Bolz, and Jill Austin team together for a conference, or rather a strategic campaign, purposed to help prepare the Bride for the coming “Day of the Lord.”

Jill’s heart is to train and equip the saints through these conferences. God has spoken to Jill that He wants to bring the prophetic, power ministries and the five-fold back into Kansas City; He has commissioned her to use these conferences as one of the weapons in His arsenal for city-wide transformation as He moves in this region!

As I am sure you are already familiar with the prophetic history of Kansas City, this city is a key to this nation. As Kansas City is unlocked, the heartlands and the nation will soon follow!
