I have just returned from a 6-week ministry trip to California where we had the privilege of co-laboring with Holy Spirit in many different churches and cities. We saw powerful moves of the Spirit that brought hope to the hopeless and strength and refreshing to the weak and the broken. We also witnessed gold teeth, angelic encounters and opened-eyes visitations, which I will share later, but what is burning in my heart right now is something I feel very deeply about. I lift my voice in thanksgiving and praise to the God of restoration for He, in His grace and mercy, is the One who heals the breeches between the generations.

Malachi 4:5-6 (NIV) "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."

The Elijah Anointing

• The Elijah anointing is a prophetic trans-generational anointing that rebuilds the old ruins, heals the desolations of many generations, and brings unity and fresh fire on the altar of individuals, families and people groups.
• The Elijah anointing raises up fathers and mothers in the Spirit to mentor and impart to the generations coming after them so that they can move in an even greater and greater anointing in the last perilous days.
• The Elijah anointing is bringing forth double-portion sons and daughters of destiny, moving in signs wonders and miracles.
• The Elijah anointing aligns the generations in God's divine purposes of loving one another, esteeming and honoring each other more than ourselves - rather than the idolatrous, self-focused spirit prevalent in the church and the world today that says, "Bless me! Bless me!"

Covenant of Barrenness

• The Jezebel spirit is behind abortion, world wars, ethnic wars and governments actually limiting the number of children a family is allowed to bring forth, resulting in the abandonment and death of thousands of female and/or deformed children. Compromise with the Jezebel spirit brings us into covenants of sterility and barrenness so that we no longer even want children.
• Jezebel works to divide the generations and get them to fear and hate each other instead of having the radical fire and demonstration of God's power moving through the loins of the generations.

Spiritual Fathers and Mothers Needed!

• We always hear about the generational line of curses, but today I want to talk about the generational line of blessing. Does the fire of those of you who are 50 years and older explode into the generations coming after you? Even Elijah sat down under the broom tree of self-pity, wanting to just give up and die, but the Lord is challenging you to be a bright and shining lamp.
• When you have the blazing fire of God, everyone wants to be around you to get what you have. So has God made promises to you that you have not seen fulfilled? Have you dreamed of moving in an anointing like Elijah that confronts the evil in our society and tears down the strongholds of the enemy? Do you call down fire on the cold, wet altar of your own heart and those around you?
• Are you raising up spiritual children with a double-portion anointing imparted by watching you move in a fiery zeal and intimate love affair with the Lord? Are you provoking them to a holy jealousy for the things of God?

Graveyard of Broken Dreams

• Or, do you look at the children with their spiked hair, pierced earrings and loud music and tell yourself you don't even want them? Have you turned a deaf ear to their desperate voices crying out, "Where are the spiritual fathers and mothers? Who will mentor us?"
• Are you living in the graveyard of broken dreams and promises? Has bitterness and self-pity taken the place of the excitement you used to experience when you moved in radical adventures with the Lord? Can you hear the wasteland of your life calling you to repentance?
• For those whose hearts are pierced with conviction, please pray with me, "Lord, forgive me for the selfish idolatry that has brought my heart into isolation and barrenness! I recognize that I've allowed the enemy to wickedly and skillfully separate me from the children. Awaken my heart with fresh fire so I will be stronger at the end of my race than when I began."

Pools of Glory

The Pools of Glory Conference in Vallejo, CA, hosted by Paul Flotho at the North Bay Vineyard, became a trumpet call for regional and generational unity. The Holy Spirit began to touch each of the team members' hearts with an overwhelming affection and vision for His church in the region.

Releasing Glory

At one time, about 40 people fell out as God's glory brooded over them. Nobody touched them, they just fell out under the power. One of them was a muscular guy with a shaved head and radical tattoos (see photo at left), holding his 3-year old child. I found out later that this was the son of the couple I was staying with, and that he had never been touched by God's power like that before.

Releasing Unity

On the final night, Jill shared on Elijah vs. Jezebel. It was breathtaking to see the Holy Spirit lead into a time of reconciliation between parents and children (see Malachi 4:5-6). Amidst much weeping, many relationships were healed and the 'dads and moms' in attendance made a commitment to mentor their spiritual and natural children.

Releasing Restoration

The Lord also gave an unusual sign of breakthrough the day after the conference ended. Apparently rain never visits the North Bay area during late June or July, so nobody was expecting a three-hour downpour! It created literal 'Pools of Glory' that halted highway traffic, soaked area vineyards, and sent hopeful picnickers running desperately for cover.

Pastor Paul felt that the lingering shower was a 'token' of God's intention to bring restoration. As the Lord broke a drought with rain after Elijah's confrontation, so He was indicating His power to refresh and revive His church in the North Bay region. Hats off to a key regional intercessor who, during prayer before the final session, felt led prophetically to intercede for this unexpected release of rain. Praying with the North Bay intercessors was an unforgettable experience!

A Team Effort

The highest privilege for me was to join in as a team with Jill, Steve Carpenter, and folks in attendance to unlock a fresh breakthrough of God's heart for the area.

God interrupted my Saturday workshop with a symbol of this teamwork. In an unusual prophetic act, the North Bay Vineyard's associate pastor - also an accomplished hip hop artist - led us in antiphonal declaration of God's blessing over the cities of the region. I believe the heavens literally shook with the resonance of these rhythmic proclamations … a fresh perspective on the 'harp & bowl!'

And the Holy Spirit amazed everybody with the revelation given through Steve Carpenter. His preaching on the Ethiopian eunuch touched people deeply with God's love and passion for restoration. Three hours after the ministry time, the eyes of my host family were still watery with tears!

So for those who stood in prayer for the Vallejo conference and the others during the California tour, we cannot thank you enough!

Gold Teeth and the Spirit of Burning

A couple sent this report to us via the Internet:

"Since Jill's meeting last Friday night until today (Thursday), I have been receiving a continual deposit of gold teeth. I thought my teeth where turning to gold last Saturday but I wasn't sure - now I am certain of it! Every day more fillings have turned to gold. God has deposited gold in all 14 of my teeth (all fillings I already had and teeth that needed root canals)! The gold is going from a dark bronze gold to a brighter and cleaner gold. I have also had encounters with angels doing a work in the middle of the night. Last night I was awakened a couple times as the roots on three side-by-side teeth had a tingling and tugging sensation. My wife experienced an awesome Spirit of burning and has stepped into a new place of boldness with prophesying and street witnessing. I see a real passion for the lost and Jesus. The outpouring of passion and fire is in the land and we ask Holy Spirit for more hunger and glory to come to our coast and the lost."

Leaders Empowered

In one of the meetings a supernatural intervention of God catapulted a formerly sedate pastor down the altar area and into the lap of someone sitting on the front row! God downloaded her with such fire that she said it felt like an electrical current surging through her hands to the point of being painful! God was moving in her life to break off the old shackles of religion and release her into a new freedom and liberty to move in the things of the Spirit. Desperately hungry women converged on her like a human tidal wave, crying out for and receiving the same freedom.

Angelic Visitations

Many people gave testimonies of seeing angels in the room during an open heaven that sovereignly came into a meeting. A young man saw warrior angels all over the room. Another saw a blinding white light and heard the words, "Welcome, Holy One." During worship, a pastor saw a sea of glass mingled with fire and saw fire coming down from an altar in heaven into the meeting. The saxophone player said his instrument began to shake while he was playing and suddenly he was taken up into the heavenly realm along with his instrument. He could see people on the earth crying out in desperation for God. A woman saw an angel hovering over people so their wings were touching, like an angelic canopy. Another woman was on her face weeping when she saw the cross in flames. Behind the blazing wooden beams stood Jesus and as she watched, He began to reveal His heart to her. He told her that many of His people stop at the cross, unwilling to go through the fire to find His heart.

Children Encountered Jesus

A large number of children were literally on their faces before the Lord during one of the worship services. They were serious and undistracted in seeking the Lord. An eleven year old was weeping as she related how the Lord came to her and told her how very much He loved her. Then she saw another angel singing to the Lord. An 8 year old saw angels walking the aisles swinging shields and torches of fire back and forth while another child saw four large, bright angels dropping torches around the room. It was a holy and precious time!

Office Update

• The Forerunner School of Prayer starts in September and Jill will be teaching every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Pray that the students will be radically touched and empowered by the anointing.
• Jason and Trish Boyer have joined the team as website developers for Master Potter. Pray for them as they creatively design our new image and streamline and automate our office. They are a young company and we want to bless them and activate prayer for them as they are volunteering their services to us.
