Dear Friends,
We have exciting news to share with you! The Lord has opened a door for us to buy a house to be used as our office and it is right around the corner from my house! Moving the office out of my house is like being pregnant with child, I am told. I feel like we are birthing something in the Spirit and "enlarging our tent" because the ministry is expanding.
Some dear friends of mine just moved to Seattle and they are selling us their house "by owner" so we are able to move in right away. They have graciously given us several months to raise the downpayment, which is $12,000. This would make our monthly payment $500 per month, plus utilities. Jackie Nettles, a student from Metro Christian Fellowship's Grace Training Center, is doing part of her internship with Master Potter. She has a job but she is helping us on the side and is going to rent space in the house so our office will be occupied when we aren't working.
I feel like the Lord is "blowing" on this whole situation apart from our touching it. The Lord talked to me about this house when I was on a ministry trip. I didn't know it was for sale until I got home and they called me to say that they were moving. Unsolicited gifts from people who didn't even know we were praying about buying this house have sent us money!
It is more cost effective for us to pay a monthly mortgage, and we build up equity, than to rent office space and have nothing to show for it. The house price is $58,500 with four bedrooms and one bathroom. You can only get these good prices in Missouri. If this were California, I could probably buy the land for a mailbox at this price!!
This geographic relocation of the office of Master Potter will bring a major paradigm shift into my life as well as the ministry. I have always had the office "under my feet" so this will be a very new but good adjustment for me. Linda and Dwana are very excited about this change for my life as well!!! I can pick the times I want to go to the office to work and my home will truly be a home for the first time ever!!!
