Highlighting the Work of His Hands
Greetings! We wanted to let you know where we have been and what has been happening since we last talked with you! The Lord gave us the privilege of ministering in these places: Baltimore, Maryland; Fairfax, Virginia; Sudbury, Canada; Pasadena and Northridge, California; Reno, Nevada; Hannover, Germany, and Wiener Neustadt, Austria. We would like to highlight some of the work of His hands with His people throughout the world.
Maryland
The Lord “arrested” a 15 year old bandanna-clad young man who was desperate for help after having a “year from hell” as he put it. Within the first hour of the meeting, the power of God sent him to the floor and he began to experience a profound visitation that gripped him all 3 nights. He was clutching his fists around his temple area and crying out, “No! No!” because he was seeing a graphic three dimensional picture of Jesus being whipped, mocked, and His ensuing crucifixion.
He asked us why Jesus would go through such horrible torture for us and when he realized the love Jesus had for him, he was dumbfounded as he shook his head in wonder and amazement.
On the third night he was on the floor laughing and cheering as he saw the empty tomb and had a revelation of Jesus risen and alive! The revelation of his salvation did change his life!
As he shared this visitation at one of the meetings, he started to relive it and had great difficulty talking or standing. As he gave a very detailed account of what he saw - which was very scriptural - people throughout the room began to weep and go into travail. There was hardly a dry eye in the room and none of us will ever forget what we heard that night!
Canada
A two week tent crusade was kicked off by 4 nights of meetings with Jill up in the Sudbury area. Much to everyone's surprise, the Lord challenged husbands and wives to a greater level of commitment to each other through a revelation of the Bride and the Bridegroom. Couples were up at the altar looking into each others eyes as they spoke heart-to-heart with each other. Some were embracing each other with joy while others were weeping in each others arms. Many relationships were healed as they humbled themselves openly and unashamedly and extended forgiveness to each other. It was a precious sight to behold!
Germany
Once again we were in Hannover but this time we were part of a two week session with their Summer Bible School program. There were people there from the Philippines, Switzerland, Japan, Austria, Holland, France, Norway, and other German cities. Different nations were brought to the front and powerful demonstrations of fiery impartations fell on them to bring the fire back to their own lands.
The Lord led Jill to call all of the medical people up to the front, thinking a handful would be in this class. To our utter amazement, over 40 people came forward from the conference! The Lord told Jill to release a healing anointing for the miraculous, accompanied by signs and wonders. As soon as she declared that in the Spirit realm, an immediate and intense “explosion” of fire touched them and there was a power surge that was obvious to everyone!
As the Master walked in our midst, He was corporately touching people with waves of laughter that brought refreshing as well as the refiner's fire. There were power encounters of impartation, an anointing for evangelism in the nations, and releasing prophetic revivalists to “follow the Lamb wherever He goes.” Amen!
Watchmen on the Walls for Us!
Can we please tell you what a wonderful difference your prayers made for us on our recent trip to Germany and Austria??? We could really feel a covering of prayer and it made our time there so much easier. As Job 29:5-6 says in the Amplified, “When the Almighty was yet with me ... my steps were washed with butter and the rock poured out for me streams of oil!” Please don't stop!! The difference was incredibly remarkable! Please remember to cover us before we leave on a trip and our re-entry. Both are as critical as the trip itself!!!!
1. Jill Austin
There has been improvement in Jill's health since we last wrote to you. We were in Germany and Austria for over a month and Jill wasn't in as much pain with this trip, which is a good sign!!! We are still asking for prayer the pain in her knees to be totally gone!!!
2. Linda Valen
She is travelling on the road with Jill and has been in very good health, thanks to your prayers. Keep them coming!!
3. Cheryl Seaburg
Our gifted office gal, Cheryl, had been doing a fantastic job of reorganizing our office and remodeling our tape room (including dry wall, painting, and adding shelving!) It looks like a whole new office. Continue to pray for her as we are on the road! She needs to be covered in prayer as much as the team on the road!
4. André Ashby
When Jill and Linda returned from Europe, André was hospitalized about a week with multiple physical problems that involve his diabetes. He has also been diagnosed with a mild form of spinal meningitis and has numbness in his face but some of the feeling is returning. They have not ruled out possible Lymes disease as of yet. 5. Book project
The Lord willing, we are going to stay home in December and January to work on the book. A number of people have responded to our request to invest in our book project and we say a BIG thank you for your interest. If you would still like to contribute to this undertaking, please mention “book project” and we'll put it in our book fund!!!
6. An IBM Computer Can Be Ours
The Lord has opened a door for us to receive a wonderful up-to-date IBM computer for less than cost - about $700 plus about $200 for programs we'll need! It will help us while writing our book. If you would like to contribute to our book project, we would love it! Please specify “IBM computer.”
