Visitations: A Key to City Transformation

Exodus 3:2, 16-17 - And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. He looked and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, ‘I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn … Go and gather the elders of Israel together and say to them, 'The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, ‘I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt; and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites … to a land flowing with milk and honey.’

What empowered Moses to stand before Pharaoh and courageously declare, “Let my people go!” One encounter with a burning bush and Moses was forever changed. Not only was Moses ruined for God, but this personal visitation was what emblazoned Moses to become the deliverer of a nation!

Do you want to see God change your city? The common question I hear in conferences across America is, “How do we bring in a revival? How do we bring heaven to earth? How do we welcome in The King of Glory?” I believe that one key to city transformation is personal visitation.

For God to change your city, you must first have a radical visitation yourself. If you want to usher in a major move of God, you must first and foremost have a God encounter yourself.

There is a misconception and a lie in the Church that visitations are just for personal purposes where you have awesome adventures like riding in chariots of fire, eating on the Sapphire Sea like the Elders did with Moses, and playing with angels. But is that the only reason that God gives us radical encounters with Him?

If we examine scripture, we will see how the majority of our forefathers of the faith had a personal encounter with God to launch them into their destiny so that they could change the course of biblical history. The result of these hallmark encounters were not just that they themselves were touched, but also that God’s people were radically blessed. We cannot divorce city transformation from personal God encounters. If you want revival, cry out for radical encounters with Jesus!

Prayer: Lord, I want a radical visitation from You! Just like you suddenly appeared to Moses, I ask for a holy ambush of your Spirit. I ask that you would put a bull’s eye on my heart and ruin me for Jesus! I must have more! Use me like you did Moses to deliver an entire nation from just one personal encounter!

• Twins Are Born: Two Books in One Year!With Master Potter and the sequel Master Potter and The Mountain of Fire (Destiny Image) hitting the shelves this year, the Lord has anointed this ministry as the pen of a ready writer. Jill’s heart is to preach in every living room in America, but logistics limit me. Therefore, God uses tapes, cd’s and books to invade the world to ruin people for Jesus. • April, 2003 - Rome, Italy - “A Gathering in the Holy Spirit: A Conversation among Non-Denominational Christians and Roman Catholics”: Jill ministered at an invitation-only roundtable in Rome, Italy, to the key governmental leaders who are over 250 million Christian Charismatics world-wide. This forum brought greater unity and healing to the Bride.
• May, 2003 – Dallas, Texas – Toward Jerusalem Council II Strategic Roundtable: This was another key invitation Jill accepted and spoke of last year. God called her to governmentally speak into world-wide leaders who will later affect a multitude of people. Behind the scenes, she gave a word on end time martyrdom and was able to minister to Messianic leaders such as Dan Jester, Mike Bickle, John Dawson, Jack Hayford and others.
• Kansas City, MO - Master Potter Conferences at Christ Triumphant Church: God is expanding our tent-pegs on the home front as well as abroad through 4 different CTC Conferences in 2003. For example, I wanted to share a few moments from the September Conference, “Revival and Revolution.”
  
  Jill and others felt very strong that our September Conference was historic. A landmark in the Spirit happened Saturday, September 14, when Pastor Dutch Sheets gave a prophetic exhortation over the land.
  
  He explained historically that Kansas City is a city of unusual spiritual activity and an epicenter of the restoration of the prophetic across the world. Though God desires to use Kansas City in extraordinary ways, when a fracture occurred, the enemy tried to abort its prophetic call. Dutch felt like there was still a significant fracture in the atmosphere of the heavenlies. He exhorted us that if we would get in alignment and agreement with The Timeless Eternal God, historic breakthrough would literally affect this city.
  
  Saturday morning was just that! The speakers ‘tag-team’ prophesied. Hearts were engaged in deep travail. The atmosphere was pregnant with the presence of God. No one could leave untouched, and we felt that this region could not escape being affecting by the powerful prayers. Though we are not fully aware of the affect of this conference, we are confident that the ripples of this “Revival and Revolution” will manifest as God truly sets this city as a “City of Prophets”.
  
  Our November Conference was extraordinary in many ways as well, being earmarked by open heavens and multiple angelic encounters, some being simultaneous in nature. Jill had a powerful angelic visitation during one of the meetings and she has described it in detail on our website http://www.masterpotter.com/articles/. My heart was challenged and gripped by the encounter and I know that I will never be the same because of it. May you encounter Him in a significant way as you read these three articles yourself!

VISION CASTING FOR 2004

The Lord is using the Master Potter Conferences at Christ Triumphant Church as one of many avenues to cause breakthroughs in this region. The Nations as His Inheritance

God has spoken to Jill that 2004 will be a year of taking the nations as His inheritance! For years she has hungered in her heart to minister to the poorest of the poor, believing that the continent of Africa is a strategic part of her destiny. I have had numerous doors open this year with invitations to minister with Heidi Baker who oversees 6,000 churches as revival is sweeping the nation of Mozambique (http://www.irismin.org). Additionally, Dr. Kingsley Fletcher has invited Ana Mendez, myself and a prophetic team to help him with crusades in Ghana.

Additionally, after laboring in the nation of New Zealand for years and seeing God radically hit a nation with a historic outpouring of God, the Lord has again opened up the doors for Jill to return there this year!

The late Dr. Ruth Heflin prophesied that the next time Jill goes to New Zealand, she would see a manifestation of glory that she has never seen before! Open heavens in New Zealand await us!

Jill will also be going to Israel on a strategic prayer journey with a team of apostolic prophetic leaders.

All these trips will require financial and prayer support. Pray about being a partner with us for the nations!!!

Apostolic Networking: Building Bridges

Another incredible kiss from the Lord this year was being blessed with apostolic coverings from different divine connections He has built with Jill in this past year. The Lord has opened doors for her to prophetically speak into different governmental apostolic movements:

• Che Ahn of Harvest International Ministries (HIM), an Apostolic and Prophetic Network, has asked Jill to join his leadership team and speak at four regional conferences across the nation this year.
• Additionally, Dr. Kingsley Fletcher has asked her to minister at his church and his home in Ghana on four different occasions during 2004.
• Last but not least, Mike Bickle of the International House of Prayer (IHOP) asked Jill to be a part of several conferences this year. IHOP continues to be a place that she not only loves to minister at, but she cherishes as home, along with Pastor Alan and Carol Koch of Christ Triumphant Church.

Jill’s Ordination: Harvest International Ministries (HIM)

This past year Dr. Che Ahn of Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, California, invited Jill to be a part of HIM (Harvest International Ministries), an apostolic and prophetic network.

It had been a prayer of James Goll’s for a couple of years to ordain Jill through HIM and everything came together during an recent HIM conference.

Dr. Che Ahn, James Goll, Lou Engle, Brian and Candy Simmons, and Kent Henry were part of the ordination ceremony to honor Jill as a prophetess of the Lord. What a ceremony it was! As they anointed Jill with oil, prayed for her, and prophesied over her, the power of the Holy Spirit came like a whirlwind of the angelic as the crowd cheered and clapped!

Kent Henry wrote a touching song that he dedicated to Jill and sang over her. In the end, they asked Jill if she would like to say something and all she could do was raise her hands and cry out, “Thank you Jesus! I love you, Lord!” That night will be a precious memory for years to come!

Men Standing for the Release of Women

The Lord led Jill to share a powerful message on the life of Deborah, challenging men in the church to be the “Barak’s” that will stand with the “Deborahs” in this critical hour. An altar call brought a flood of women to the front that were gripped in their hearts with this message of freedom. Pastor Brian Simmons then asked the men if they would stand in support of releasing women to walk in their destiny. When the women turned around and looked up, the entire balcony area was lined with men who took a stand for the women to come forth! It was a powerful and encouraging picture for all of the women!

The Dancing Trumpet Player

An African American young man encountered the Lord with such freedom and joy that he was dancing, running down the aisles and playing his trumpet, calling for people to press into Jesus with new freedom. He was a catalyst for a number of other youth to break out into dance as the angelic began to encounter them with such beautiful expressions. It is always so exciting when heaven touches earth and people are touched so deeply.

The Gathering of Nations

Jill asked all of the people who were born in other nations to come forward. It was astounding to see an altar filled with people from 13 nations! She ministered to each group and prophesied or released the power of the Holy Spirit. The heart of the Lord came very strongly on a woman from South Africa and Jill gave her the microphone. She delivered an impassioned plea for people to come to Jesus as a heart for the lost was released in the room and people were weeping.
