Highlighting the Work of His Hands
A Multi-Racial Women's Conference Attracts Some 4,500 Ladies
This was the second year that Jill was invited to the Charisma Womens' Conference in Lakeland, Florida. As Jill ministered at Carpenter’s Home Church and the fire of God came, the whole altar area and each of the aisles were filled with women who were shaking, weeping in each others arms, deliverance, falling down, and crying out to God. It was sobering to behold a “sea of women” so hurting and broken as they poured out their hearts to Jesus with such strong emotions while forgiving family, friends, and church leaders who had betrayed and abused them. Many were repenting and asking forgiveness for their own bitterness, hatred, and anger towards those who hurt them.
New Agers Challenged by God’s Power
Picture a semi-remote city called Sudbury, Canada, situated 5 hours NE of Toronto, a place that few speakers come because of the intense cold, and you will find people who are incredibly hungry. Overflow crowds packed the venue and the excitement level was obvious every night.
During one of the meetings, the Lord brought a painful revelation of what hell would be like. There was an deafening "explosion" of power that hit the room as wave after wave of people began to cry out loud, scream, fall through rows of chairs, and shake violently on the floor while sobbing at the revelation.
Earlier in the evening Jill said that there were a number of people in the room who didn't know Jesus and He was inviting them to come to Him. We found out after the meeting that there were two rows of New Agers close to the front that were freaking out at the power of Holy Spirit!! As a wave of corporate intercession was breaking loose in the room, there came an overwhelming cry for the lost and prodigals to return to the Lord. The New Agers need to see that the one they call on can't help them and see a demonstration of the power of God!!!!
Maori Indians of Gisborne on God's War Path
We encountered an unusual, absolutely radical church here and the majority of the congregation of over 500 were made up of the Maori Indians of New Zealand. They have a Warrior Program that lasts for 3 years (they can only miss 3 times in a year or they are out) before you can be part of the ministry team! They were 60 strong and when ministry times came, these trained men and women of God combed the room like a 60 bottom plow!
There was a depth of God in the room right away the first night because of intense prayer from their church, along with the people's craving for the deeper things of God. People came from several surrounding cities to attend.
As Jill shared about taking the prophetic to the streets, an older man in the audience was being gripped so powerfully that it looked like he was having a heart attack. He groaned out loud to the point that it was hard to hear the message, then he fell to the floor weeping. The audience was soon affected as others began to cry out, weep out loud, tremble, shake, and fall down. Holy Spirit was gripping people's hearts for the lost and prodigals.
Impartations in Nelson, New Zealand
Here is another radical church on the cutting edge for God that drew people from 7 other cities, one being a city at the very bottom of the south island!!
The power of Holy Spirit fell on the Team Missions staff and it brought the most incredible bout of laughter that we had seen on the trip! The entire group of 20 fell simultaneously like a set of dominos and landed in piles on top of each other!
Suddenly the room changed as the deep presence of the Lord came into the room. Then the Team Mission Church staff were weeping, on their faces before God, and in deep places, followed by a very long period of absolute silence as the heavy brooding of the Lord and the deep weight of His presence was with us. The King of Glory was in our midst in a holy and precious way ... and the silence continued at the feet of Jesus simply beholding Him!
Children Touched in Hamilton, New Zealand
Jill was given the privilege of ministering to the children of this church. After telling them a story about how much light they give out, using different intensities of flash lights in a dark room, Jill opened it up for Holy Spirit to come by doing a London Bridge Prayer Tunnel. At first they were giggling, but as they continued to get soaking prayer in the tunnel, many of the children were shaking and trembling, falling down as if they were out “cold,” and going into deep places with Jesus. By the time we left for the evening meeting with the adults, nearly all of the children were on the floor.
Metro Women’s Conference Draws 2,000
Jill was one of many women sharing in workshop sessions throughout the weekend in Kansas City. One side of the coin was a prophesy that 1997 was the year that God was going to bring women forward to walk in their destiny; the other side of the coin was a plea for them to not be disqualified because of heart issues of unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, and anger for being in the "dungeons" of life. The altar area as well as different parts of the room were full as women did business with God. Many were weeping, shaking, falling down, and going through deliverance and forgiveness as a power surge hit the room. In the end, many women were laid out everywhere before the Lord.
Waves of "Fire" and a Watch of the Lord
This was Jill's first time to be at a "Daughter of a Lion" Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, sponsored by Mahesh & Bonnie Chavda. What an incredible conference full of hungry people that were hanging on to Jesus for everything they could get! Wave after wave after wave of fire hit the room as Jill was making prophetic proclamations and breaking things off the women. Many were responding with such a deafening noise that at times it was hard to hear Jill on the microphone! Throughout the room God was sovereignly touching women as they were crying out loud, falling between chairs, screaming, on their faces before God, spinning around, jumping up and down, jolting, or laughing. Jesus mightily healed many hearts and gave fresh impartation to His daughters.

We just wanted to catch you up on some things that involve the ministry so you are informed. Perhaps you wonder where have we been ministering since our last newsletter? We’ve been in Sudbury, Canada; Metro Christian Fellowship (MCF) Pastors’ Conference in Kansas City, MO; Lakeland, FL; Nelson, Gisborne, Hamilton, and New Plymouth, New Zealand; MCF’s Women in the Prophetic II Conference in Kansas City, MO; Charlotte, NC; Hannover, Berlin, and Munich, Germany; San Francisco, CA; Grants Pass, OR; Moreno Valley, Corona, and Brea, CA.
When you look at this list, you probably think that we have not had a moments rest, but we are pacing ourselves!! We’re ministering about 50% of the time (an average of twice a month) instead of 85% of the time, so we can work on Jill’s health, which became a serious concern after our trip to Germany in May. She is now on a low salt and low fat food plan with no sugar as well as vigorous swimming aerobics workouts 4-5 times a week.
The results are already evident and we’re very encouraged but she still has a long way to go so keep praying!! In order to consistently work this plan, we’ve had to stay off the road more than usual and believe the Lord for the finances to cover our expenses.
You are probably saying to yourself, "Why do you go out on the road so much?” The answer is simple - the Lord has called us to bring His message of passion for Jesus and the fire of Holy Spirit to His people AND we have to pay operating expenses and our office staff! As an itinerant, we are not salaried by any church and no set income can be planned into our budget! None of our staff gets extravagant salaries - they probably live on much less than most of you reading this!
We've tried to run the office with one person while Jill and I go out on the road, but the ministry has expanded to the point that it is too much for one person to handle anymore. Therefore, we have hired Dwana May, from Atlanta, Georgia, as our office manager and administrator. Johnna Rollins, from Framingham, Massachusetts, is assisting Dwana and helping with other time-consuming projects, running countless errands, and researching other projects related to the ministry. They are a gift from the Lord to us and we are very thankful!
