Summer's
Wind of Change |
|
What
an eventful summer we’ve had! I’d love to take this month’s
newsletter to praise the Lord for all He has done with a
simple recap of the past couple
months: |
|
We
joined Jesus in
the
deepest places of suffering,
as well as some of the
greatest moments of joy,
in South Korea, Mozambique,
and South
Africa. |
|
Missions
Abroad
This trip to the nations was made
possible by the tremendous generosity of you, our faithful
donors! Not only were we able to make this trip, but we made a
substantial contribution to Heidi and Rolland Baker’s
organization, Iris Ministries, helping the orphans, widows and
thousands of un-reached Muslims of
Mozambique.
We look forward to
returning to these countries to spread the Gospel and are
working on plans for other trips in the coming
months.
We've also had
some great conferences and events right here in the United
States with several more up and coming (listed
below). |
Local
Shifting and Secret Place
Refreshment
Back here in the states, Master
Potter made a major shift into a new season and new home in Orange
County, California. The move represents breaking from the old and
starting fresh with a solid foundation of the Lord for my ministry
in California. I am feeling the oil of refreshment and loving the
new-found freedom of having my office separate from my home, so I
can have a personal respite for secret place fellowship with Jesus.
Once again, thank you so much for all of your dear donations to help
enable this move!
Global
Shakings and Call for Prayer
Around the world, we
kept our eyes glued to our television sets, newspapers and Internet
as tension continues in the Middle East, just as the Bible
prophesied. We prayed for our sons fighting valiantly in Iraq
against terrorism and for our Christian values. We watched in shock
as London became another target of militant Islamic Jihad. We
wondered at the outcome of the Jewish people being forced again to
leave their homes in the Gaza Strip. Then, on our own turf, we sat
helpless as winds, rain and waters crushed the Gulf Coast with
Hurricane Katrina. We are in times of great shifting and change. The
turbulence is only beginning! With the question, “What next?,”
hanging over our heads, we need to be learning how to
prepare.
What must we do in this
hour to prepare? How do you practically prepare for the end-time
calamities prophesied in the Bible? We are living in momentous days
as God is preparing the earth for a mighty visitation of His
presence and His power. If we will make keeping His presence in our
hearts our passion and purpose, we can stand steadfast and unshaken,
even in the midst of end-time tribulations. The Lord is opening
supernatural treasure and provision from heaven, based on the
choices that His people are making.
Activate your will
now to align with God's! The cry of our hearts has to be for
God's kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it
