House of Prayer for All Nations

I had the great privilege of being part of a ministry team from my church, Metro Christian Fellowship, in Kansas City, Missouri. The primary purpose of the trip was to minister at the dedication of the church building, the Suvisesha Ashram, which our church helped to build through an offering. While in India, the team ministered at 4 prophetic conferences in Bangalore, Nagpur, Madras, and Bombay and I want to share some of the things the Lord did in our midst.

India: A Prophetic Journey
January 10th – 23rd, 1999

Prophetic Conference in Bombay – The Lord Visited Powerfully

In Bombay, we did a conference with New Life Fellowship. The Lord gripped many of the 700 leaders with wave after wave of laughter, intercession, and impartation when the raw power of God touched the room for the next 2 days.

We teamed together to do preaching, teaching, and giving prophetic words. During the ministry times, we moved throughout the crowded auditorium praying for hundreds of people. I was blessed to be one of the speakers, along with Michael Sullivant, Gary Wiens, and Chris DuPre’. It was wonderful to partner with a team and see God move so powerfully.

Bangalore

We arrived in Bangalore and drove to the Suvisesha Ashram, The House of Prayer for All Nations. We were warmly greeted by Amma and two of her daughters, Prasanna and Shanti. Amma is 80 years old and has been praying and fasting for this renewal center for 42 years!!! What a privilege it was to see the fulfillment of an incredible prophetic promise!

The first week in India our team spent most of our time at the Ashram in Bangalore. In working with the team, it was wonderful to see the different gift mixes blending together. Some had prophetic dreams every night, others were gifted in teaching, preaching, leading worship, moving in the prophetic, or ministering to the children. Everyone prayed for the sick and demonized and led people to Jesus.

Prophetic Art Triggers Visitation in Bangalore

Jeff Zumwalt, a team member and professional stain glass artisan, designed and crafted a large, beautiful stained-glass window for the Ashram church. The spiritual warfare surrounding this masterpiece was intense but finally, after many delays, the window arrived two hours before the dedication. Jeff and a team of Indian men worked feverishly to install the window, finishing it just in time for the dedication ceremony of the church. Whew!

It is truly a prophetic piece of art, portraying Jesus with His feet on India. The words at the bottom read: "Jesus, is the Light of the World". It is a fitting centerpiece for this church, which will certainly be a beacon of light in India, where idols are so openly served and worshipped by the vast majority of the people.

12 Year Old Girl Gripped by God

Saturday night during worship at the Ashram, I saw Jeff Zumwalt suddenly run outside the building. I felt an unction to follow and saw a small commotion outside on the veranda of the church. Minni, a small girl of 12 years, looked unconscious, being held in the arms of Mike and Laura Alley (team members). People thought she was dying or was in a serious physical dilemma.

"Wait a minute," I said, "tell me what happened!" People eagerly explained, "She was worshipping and dancing before the Lord and then she collapsed." I said, "I feel she is having a visitation, an encounter with the Lord. This is not unto death, this is Jesus, so let’s ask her what she is seeing…."

Right next to her was another child who could speak English and she asked the 12 year old what she was seeing, while she was experiencing it. This is the wonderful visitation she had, as retold by Mike & Laura Alley.

The Visitation Unfolds

While she was looking up at the stained-glass window, at the brown face of Jesus, she was suddenly lifted up "into" the window as the Lord said, "Take My hands." When she did so, she was lifted above the church so she could see the Cross below and the stars above. She was placed on a rock and He told her to sit very still until the Holy Spirit would come.

She started getting very agitated and frightened because the rock became encircled with demons. She cried out, "It’s coming down! It’s coming down! Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit." Peace flooded her heart as she saw the Cross and Jesus coming to her. His presence made the demons flee! Immediately four mighty angels came and surrounded her. She said they were white and had huge wings.

The Alley’s later shared, "I’m thinking the angels were ministering angels. As she was retelling us the visitation, you could tell she was seeing it all over again - her eyes were not her own. They were seeing in another realm. She was looking at things now but still couldn’t look at the stained-glass window because there was still so much power present. Then I just held her in my arms and rocked her and sang, ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and told her she was safe in Jesus’ arms now."

Bangalore Miracles

Yes, we saw miracles! One of the cries of our hearts was to see Jesus mightily touch people not only to bring them to salvation, but also to experience radical healings. Desperate poverty and disease brought people who were hungry for a touch from God. In India, like most 3rd world nations, there is a great faith level and expectancy for miracles. Most people can not afford doctors or hospitals so they have to believe that God can heal them, for He is their only hope.

I had the wonderful opportunity to pray for a young woman who was born deaf. She received healing in both ears. Michael and Terri Sullivant prayed for a twelve-year-old boy who received healing in one ear. Gary Wiens also prayed for a man who was partially paralyzed in one arm. He was healed when he renounced and cut off a wristband that represented a certain Hindu sect he had been involved with. Others in the ministry team, from Metro Christian Fellowship, England, and Chicago, also prayed and saw others healed. Overall, our time in Bangalore was awesome and it was great to be there!

Prophetic Teaching

A Miracle Mantle – Do You Want to Try on the Coat?

After seeing many miracles, the Lord impressed me with several things. Most people who come to a miracle service only come to receive impartation or a miracle for themselves. Yes, this is important, but we also need to come and learn from humble servants as they operate in the anointing.

So many questions flooded my spirit as I asked Him questions, seeking to learn from Him. We all need to ask the question, "How can we wear the mantle of miracles?" We know it is by prayer and fasting, but is also comes with our intimate walk and relationship with Him and how we partner or dance in the anointing with our Beloved.

When Amma, a worker of miracles from Bangalore prayed for the sick, it was wonderful to feel the mantle of miracles moving around her. Whenever I am around an earthenware vessel that moves powerfully in the demonstration of the Kingdom with signs and wonders following, my heart is to become like a little child. "Oh Lord, teach me Your ways, Your compassion, and Your heart. How and why does she pray for this person this way and another this way?"

Entering into the Glory Realm

Once again, when you are near a person who has a mantle that is ignited by fire and the unction of the Holy Spirit and the atmosphere changes around them, it can affect not only a room but also a whole city or an entire nation. This is the time to learn the ways and mysteries of God.

The Majestic Weaver

You can hear the sound of heaven’s loom as the Lord weaves powerful governmental mantles with many combinations of His divine tapestry! This is for His sovereign purposes and prophetic timetables: i.e. miracle-working mantles, prophetic mantles, evangelistic mantles, teaching mantles, apostolic mantles, pastoral mantles, etc.

It is almost as if, by stepping into the sphere of glory and anointing that moves around different people, you can try on their coat or mantle. Even though you have not paid the "price behind the anointing" for that mantle, you can learn, experience, or touch - even if only for a moment - the divine connection and glory realm that they have with God!

This, too, can open the way for God to then awaken your spirit to deeper realms and greater depths, igniting hunger to know Him more intimately and walk in His ways!

Divine Radiation Zones

It said that during the Welsh Revival, the Glory Cloud of God rested on the entire nation and went out 6 miles to sea. When ships would come into the nation, people on these vessels would cry out for mercy and get saved, delivered, and healed … just by entering into divine radiation zones of the manifest presence of the Lord!!!

It has been reported that Maria Woodworth Etter, an anointed woman of God in the 1880’s, had the glory of God moved around her with a 50 mile radius! People were radically convicted, saved, had visions of heaven or hell, and got healed and delivered.

Amma (from India), like Finney, John G Lake, and Kathryn Kuhlman, were anointed people where the glory of God would move around them. They literally were "divine breakers" in the Spirit and connected heaven to earth.

Urgent Prayer Needed!!

It has so gripped my heart that churches and homes are being burned in Northern India, as well as severe beatings, stabbings, murders, rapes, beheadings and other violence. Since returning home, we’ve been told that 2 young Christian girls were raped and murdered. The day we flew out of India the following event took place.

Email from Bhubaneswar, India - January 23, 1999

An Australian missionary, Mr. Graham Stewart Steins, (58), and his two sons, Philips (9) and Timothy (7), were burned to death by unidentified miscreants (vicious criminals) at Manoharpur village near the Anandpur police station in Orissa's Keonjhar district early this morning.

According to information available at the State headquarters, over 100 miscreants poured petrol on the station wagon in which Mr. Steins and his sons were sleeping and set it ablaze, killing all three. He had worked with leprosy patients since 1965. His wife and young daughter remain in India to continue the work, so please pray for them also.

Signs of Revival & Visitation

"We are excited as we daily come close to the biggest move of the Spirit in our midst we’ve ever seen. This is an awesome time! The whole church is motivated to pray with such a fervor; we have never seen the likes of this before. All night prayer meetings are becoming a weekly thing. Demons are flying out of people and in every service the finger of God is evident."

Three major things have taken place here in India,because of Christian persecution, bringing forth signs of revival and visitation to the Church, His Bride.

• The church has been driven to prayer, crying out to the Father as never before. This is a deep cry, a cry from the soul of the Bride, a cry so desperate that Heaven hears!
• The church has suddenly found her Lover again! In the midst of her hurting cry, He has suddenly appeared to her and she has found His Presence! The years that have passed by where the Bride went off and did her own thing are now finished - a new intimacy has now come. This is a new level, a new longing. Fresh waves of love have swept over this Bride and she does not want to leave His Presence at all. This has made her secure, strong, and has increased the longing in her heart for nothing but HIM alone!
• There is a sure sense of unity that has overcome them. All of the barriers of denominations and self are breaking quickly as the Bride gathers herself to take her stand to shine forth as His heartbeat and be a voice to the nation! Oh! What a privilege it is to be serving Him in a time such as this.
